Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

Features

I wrote this simple CLI app to demonstrate my familiarity with JavaScript/TypeScript.

The app has the following features:

  • Name and Location Configuration: Set your name and location to personalize your experience with the tool.

Config

  • Temperature Display: Get the current temperature for your specified location via a RESTful call to the Open-meteo API.

Temp

  • Hangman Game: Play the classic Hangman game in the terminal! You can play solo or with a friend. Guess the word before you run out of attempts.

Hangman

  • Anime Information: Retrieve details about your favorite anime using the Anilist GraphQL API. Get information like plot summaries, character details, and episode listings.
