Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

When a sailboat sails, it doesn't follow a straight line because it's deviated by wind, waves and current. The SOG and COG values provided by the GPS cannot be used to determine the boat's true course and speed, as they are constantly changing.

The purpose of this plugin is to provide precise, stable values for the boat's actual course. To do this, the plugin uses 'navigation.position' at one-minute intervals to make the calculations.

It generates two new values 'navigation.trackBearing' 'navigation.trackSpeed'

Using 'navigation.courseRhumbline.nextPoint.distance' 'navigation.courseRhumbline.bearingTrackTrue'

the plugin also calculates the time to reach the next waypoint 'navigation.timeToWp'
