Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

To test and generate a database follow these steps...

Open a terminal for each of the following commands in the same order

npx tsx testServer1.ts npx tsx testServer2.ts npx tsx testServer3.ts npx tsx testServer4.ts npx tsx testServer5.ts npx tsx main.ts

You can then rerun the main.ts script several times to generate more data

If you want to dump the database and generate new data go to the src/server/db/schema.sql and uncomment the first lines of code to drop all tables. then stop all servers and rerun the > npx ts-node testServer1.ts command. Then comment them out and run the other servers again.
