Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

Promptly sync

Promptly sync is a simple commandline prompting tool using promptly.

Installation

npm install promptly-sync

Usage

    name: 'name',
    type: 'prompt',
    description: 'Enter an username'

    type: 'password',
    description: 'Password for login'

    name: 'email',
    type: 'prompt',
    description: 'Enter an email'

var promptlySync = require('promptly-sync');
promptlySync(questions, function(err, result) {

Options

name        Set a property name

type        Set prompt type. Could be 'prompt', 'confirm',
            'password' or 'choose'. Defaults to 'prompt'

values      Defines values for a 'choose' prompt
            Example: values: ['aa', 'bb', 'cc'],

default     The default value. If not supplied, the input is mandatory 

trim        Automatically trim the input 

validator   A validator or an array of validators. 

retry       Automatically retry if a validator fails 

silent      Do not print what the user types 

input       Input stream to read

output      Output streams to write
