Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

Official CLI for Pulsar Deploy — deploy anything, own everything.

Installation

npm install -g pulsar-deploy-cli

Usage

# Authenticate
pulsar auth login        # Opens GitHub OAuth in browser
pulsar auth logout
pulsar auth status

# Deploy
pulsar deploy            # Deploy current directory
pulsar deploy --project my-app --branch main

# Logs
pulsar logs my-app       # Show latest deployment logs
pulsar logs my-app -f    # Follow (live stream)

# Environment variables
pulsar env list my-app
pulsar env set my-app KEY=value
pulsar env set my-app KEY=value --env production
pulsar env remove my-app KEY

# Rollback
pulsar rollback my-app   # Rollback to previous deployment

# Project status
pulsar status            # List all projects

# Databases
Pulsar does not host databases. Use a managed provider (Supabase or PlanetScale) and set connection strings with `pulsar env set`.

Configuration

The CLI stores config in ~/.config/pulsar-cli/ (via conf).

To use a self-hosted instance:

# Set custom API URL
pulsar config set apiUrl https://api.yourdomain.com
