Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

Transfer files over wifi (or) internet from your computer to your mobile device by scanning a QR code without leaving the terminal using node.js

Build Status

Assuming you have node 6 or above installed on your machine

Install

npm install -g qr-filetransfer

Usage


Transfer a single file

qr-filetransfer /path/to/file.txt

Experimental: Transfer a file over internet (https)

qr-filetransfer /path/to/file.txt ---www=true

(or) use Alias

qrf /path/to/file.txt

Multi files


Transfer multiple files

qr-filetransfer /path/to/file.txt /path/to/Anotherfile.txt

Transfer a full directory. Note: the directory gets zipped before being transferred

qr-filetransfer /path/to/directory

Transfer files and directories Note: gets zipped before being transferred

qr-filetransfer /path/to/directory /path/to/file.txt /path/to/Anotherfile.txt

Instead of installing, you can also use npx

npx qr-filetransfer /path/to/file.txt
