raf is a provider runtime for coding agents. When a task needs an external service capability — sending email, a database, auth, payments, DNS, hosting — your agent resolves the need to a verified provider from the open catalog at registry.rafads.com, connects it (secrets go through a browser handoff, never through chat), and calls it.
Set up your agent
npx rafads@latest installDetects Claude Code, Codex, and Cursor; registers the raf MCP server
user-wide in each; installs the trigger skill; and asks about telemetry —
consent-first, default off. Manual setup and details:
registry.rafads.com/agent-setup.
What your agent gets
execute— run TypeScript in a sandbox with typed access to every connected integration's tools.skills— the how-to guides:execute(calling convention) andresolve(fulfill a capability need: one labeled default provider plus ranked alternatives, then add and connect).resume— continue an execution paused for user interaction.
Sponsored catalog entries are always labeled, and hold the default slot only
when their quality clears the best organic candidate's bar. raf ads off
turns sponsored serving off entirely.
CLI
The package installs a raf binary: raf mcp (stdio MCP server),
raf install (agent setup), raf ads status|on|off (choice-layer controls),
raf web, raf daemon, and more — raf --help for the full list.
