Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

Ragavan

Ragavan gives every Git worktree its own isolated development environment automatically.

[!NOTE] Ragavan is a proof-of-concept and lacks many features. Use at your own risk.

Install

cargo install --git https://github.com/chiefGui/ragavan --locked ragavan
ragavan install

Quick start

Enable Ragavan once from any git project:

ragavan enable

Have fun.

  • Automatic project and development-stack detection
  • Transparent use of existing project commands
  • Stable port assignments across restarts and worktree moves
  • Port collision avoidance and active-process coordination
  • Repository-wide enrollment for existing and future worktrees
  • Local state only: no tracked files, per-worktree configuration, or daemon
  • Clear failure when safe isolation cannot be guaranteed
