Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

Railair MCP — Model Context Protocol server for European multi-rail booking via AI agents (preview namespace)

Status

This is the canonical npm package for the upcoming Railair Model Context Protocol (MCP) server. Currently in preview / pre-launch.

When released, railair-mcp will be a thin stdio→HTTPS proxy to the hosted Railair MCP server at https://mcp.railair.ai/mcp — analogous to how sbb-mcp proxies to mcp.swisstrip.app.

Background

The maintainer, F. Weinhappl, runs SwissTrip and publishes the sbb-mcp Swiss Federal Railways MCP server (live, in active SBB Distributionsvertrag pilot 04/2026 – 04/2027).

Railair extends that thesis to European cross-border rail (DB, SNCF, Trenitalia, Renfe, NS, Italo via aggregation) plus cross-modal disruption flows (e.g., flight delay → rail rebook).
