Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

RapidForge is an interactive, beautifully designed CLI tool that accelerates your development workflow. It lets you rapidly scaffold projects by selecting the best frameworks, libraries, and architectural patterns right from your terminal. No more manual setup—just answer a few questions and start coding!

With RapidForge, you can dynamically configure your project exactly how you want it. Here is what you can choose from:

📦 Installation

To use RapidForge, you can run it directly without installing, or you can install it globally to have it available anywhere.

Option 1: Run via npx (Recommended)

You can instantly run the CLI using npx:

npx rapidforge

Option 2: Install Globally

If you prefer to have the command available globally:

npm install -g rapidforge

🚀 Usage

Using RapidForge is as simple as running a single command:

rapidforge

(If you chose Option 1 above, use npx rapidforge)

You will be greeted with a stunning interactive terminal interface that will guide you through these simple steps:

  1. Core Identity: Name your project masterpiece.
  2. Architecture & Engine: Select your framework (React/Next.js) and language (TS/JS).
  3. Aesthetics & Features: Pick your styling tool, state management strategy, and toggle RBAC or API integration.

After confirming your choices, RapidForge will synthesize your application architecture, set up the folder structure, install dependencies, and let you spin up your development server immediately.
