Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

React Choice Select

The react-choice-select package provides a customizable and accessible SelectDropdown component for React applications. This component allows users to select options from a dropdown menu.

Installation

To install the package, use npm or yarn:

npm install react-choice-select

or

yarn add react-choice-select

Usage

  1. Import the SelectDropdown component in your React file:
import { SelectDropdown } from 'react-choice-select';
  1. Use the SelectDropdown component in your JSX code:
<SelectDropdown options={...} onChange={...} />

Props

The SelectDropdown components accepts the following props:

  • options (array): An array of options to populate the dropdown. Each option should be an object with label and valueproperties.
  • onChange (function): A callback function invoked when the selected option changes. It receives the selected option's value as a parameter.
  • label (string, optional): The selector label.
  • placeholder (string, optional): The placeholder text to display when no option is selected.
