Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

Description

react-info-display is a simple npm library that provides utilities for logging messages and displaying them in a customizable log viewer component for React applications.

Installation

You can install react-info-display via npm:

npm install react-info-display

Usage

Displayer

The Displayer class allows you to log messages and subscribe to receive updates whenever a new message is logged.

InfoDisplay Component

The InfoDisplay component is a React component that displays messages in a scrollable view.

InfoDisplay Props

  • messages: An array of strings representing the log messages to display.
  • position (optional): CSS properties to customize the position of the log viewer.
  • size (optional): CSS properties to customize the size of the log viewer.
  • style (optional): Additional CSS styles to apply to the log viewer.
