React Lab CLI

A lightweight, instant command-line interface for scaffolding specific React Lab templates.

Instead of cloning massive repositories full of multiple labs, react-lab-cli dynamically allows you to scaffold the exact experiment you need in seconds. All templates are securely bundled within the CLI, so it works completely offline and instantly without fetching files over the internet.

Usage

You don't need to install this package globally. You can use it instantly via npx.

Interactive Mode

To see a list of all available labs and choose one interactively:

npx react-lab-cli

Direct Scaffold

If you already know the name of the lab you want (e.g., exp4), you can bypass the interactive menu:

npx react-lab-cli create exp4

List Available Labs

To print a list of all available experiments without creating anything:

npx react-lab-cli list

How It Works

1. Scans the local bundled templates directory to see what templates are available.
2. Instantly copies the chosen lab template to your local filesystem.
3. Automatically runs npm install inside the newly created project.

Development

This CLI is part of the React-Lab ecosystem. The ~10 lab templates are bundled inside the CLI package directly for maximum speed and offline reliability.
