Optimize Toolset

I’ve always been into building performant and accessible sites, but lately I’ve been taking it extremely seriously. So much so that I’ve been building a tool to help me optimize and monitor the sites that I build to make sure that I’m making an attempt to offer the best experience to those who visit them. If you’re into performant, accessible and SEO friendly sites, you might like it too! You can check it out at Optimize Toolset.

About

Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

If you’re interested in other things I’m working on, follow me on Twitter or check out the open source projects I’ve been publishing on GitHub.

I am also working on a Twitter bot for this site to tweet the most popular, newest, random packages from npm. Please follow that account now and it will start sending out packages soon–ish.

Open Software & Tools

This site wouldn’t be possible without the immense generosity and tireless efforts from the people who make contributions to the world and share their work via open source initiatives. Thank you 🙏

Reactive-lite

NPM version Dependency Status Build Status Coverage Status

Demo

Web site

Reactive-lite is an opinionated reactive template engine, it works with simple event model which should auto emit change event on value set. the explaination

model-component is a minimal event model, it's a peerDependency of reactive-lite by now.

Features

  • Flexible binding fashion, including text-interpolation, attr-interpolation and render function.
  • Support reusable binding functions and filter functions for different reactive instances.
  • Support config resue between different reactive instances. (makes rendering list components extremely fast, eg: exgrid)
  • Support change model on the fly.
  • Easily works with checkbox(es) and select element
  • Performance concerned, use textContent for text interpolation (use data-html for render html attribute)

Install

npm i reactive-lite

Basic

  • interpolation <span>{first} {last}</span>
  • filters <span>¥{money | currency}</span>
  • render <div data-render="checkActive" >Show on active</div>
  • attr-interpolation <a data-href="http://github.com/{uid}">{name}</a>
  • event binding <button on-click="onBtnClick">click me</button>
  • checked/selected stat <input type="checkbox" name="active" data-checked="active"/>

render functions and event handler functions comes from delegate object.

Usage

var reactive = require('reactive-lite')
var el = document.getElementById('user')
var Model = require('model-component')
var User = Model('User')
  .attr('first')
  .attr('last')
  .attr('age')

var user = new User({first: 'tobi', last: 'john', age: 22})

reactive(el, model)
document.body.appendChild(reactive.el)

API

Reactive(el, model, [option])

  • el could be element or html template string
  • model contains attributes for binding to the element, and emit change [name] event for reactive
  • option is optional object contains config
  • option.delegate js object contains event handler and render function(s)
  • option.filters js object contains filters functions
  • option.bindings js object contains bindings functions
  • option.config the config attribute from other reactive instance, supply this option to prevent el(element) parsed twice.

.bind(model)

Bind to a new model, elements would get reacted and event handlers would bind to new model.

.remove()

Unbind all events and remove reactive.el
