Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

Rebootify

Rebootify - A 30x lightweight alternative to nodemon!

Rebootify is a CLI tool that helps build Node.js applications by automatically restarting the Node application when file changes in the directory are detected. It works seamlessly without requiring any additional changes to your code during development.

It is a replacement wrapper for Node.js. To use Rebootify, simply replace the word node with rebootify on the command line when executing your script.

Installation

You can install Rebootify globally on your system using npm:

npm install -g rebootify

After installation, rebootify will be available as a global command on your system path.

Usage

Basic Usage Once installed globally, you can use rebootify just like you would use node:

rebootify yourScript.js

This will start your script and automatically restart the Node.js application whenever files in the directory are changed.
