Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

ATM Simulator

The ATM Simulator is a command-line program written in Node.js that simulates an ATM (Automated Teller Machine) interface. It allows users to perform basic banking operations like balance inquiry, deposit, withdrawal, and viewing personal information.

Features

  • Balance Inquiry: Check your account balance.
  • Deposit: Deposit money into your account.
  • Withdraw: Withdraw money from your account.

Installation

  1. Ensure you have Node.js installed on your system.

  2. Clone this repository or download the source code.

  3. Open your terminal and navigate to the project directory.

  4. Install the required dependencies using npm:

    npm install

Usage

  1. Run the program with the following command:

    node main.js
  2. The program will greet you and ask you to select your preferred language.

  3. Enter your 4-digit PIN when prompted.

  4. Choose from the available menu options:

    • "Balance Inquiry"
    • "Deposit"
    • "Withdraw"
    • "Personal Information"
  5. Follow the on-screen prompts to complete your selected operation.

  6. The program will display the results and provide additional information as needed.

Example PINs

The program includes example PINs and user data for demonstration purposes. You can use the following PINs to explore the features:

  • PIN 1234 (User: Abdul)
  • PIN 1224 (User: Ahmad)
  • PIN 1222 (User: Ahsan)
