Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

RIPEMD Hex Converter

This simple yet powerful Node.js module takes a hex string as input and returns a RIPEMD-160 hash string. This utility is perfect for those who need quick and reliable hashing for cryptographic applications or for integrating RIPEMD-160 into their workflows.

Installation

To use the ripemd Hex Converter, make sure you have Node.js installed. Then, you can install the package using npm:

npm install ripemd --global

Usage

After installation, the script can be run directly from the command line:

ripemd <your_hex_string>

Replace <your_hex_string> with the actual hex string you want to hash.

Example

ripemd aaff00

This command will output the RIPEMD-160 hash of the hex string aaff00.

As a Module

You can also use this package as a module in your Node.js applications:
