Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

Rise Stock Market Investment Application

Welcome to the Rise Stock Market Investment. This is a simple command-line interface (CLI) application built using Node.js and TypeScript that simulating stock market investments. The program allows users to choose a stock market and invest money, with the possibility of gaining or losing a random percentage of their investment.

Features

  1. Minimum Investment: The minimum investment amount is set at 50000 units of currency.
  2. Single Market Investment: Users can invest in only one market at a time to maintain focus and manage investments effectively of popular stock markets such as Google, MRF, Microsoft Corporation, NYSE, and SeaBoard Corporation.
  3. Randomized Returns: The application simulates market volatility by introducing random percentage increases or decreases to the investment amount.
  4. Exit Option: Users have the freedom to exit the program whenever they wish.

Interactive Interface

  • User-friendly interface powered by Inquirer.js allows for easy navigation and input.
  • Clear instructions and prompts guide users through the investment process.
