Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

sanelog

Sane log aggregation. Logging that doesn't drive you mad.

⚠️ This package is a placeholder. It reserves the sanelog name on npm for the official sanelog.com SDK, which is currently in development.

What is sanelog?

sanelog is a log aggregation platform — collect, search, and live-tail logs from all your apps and servers in one place, through an interface designed to stay out of your way.

What will this package become?

The official Node.js SDK and CLI for sanelog:

  • 📡 Ship logs from your Node apps with a couple of lines of code
  • 🔍 Query and tail your logs from the terminal
  • ⚙️ Manage sources, alerts, and retention from CI

Current status

npx sanelog

...prints a friendly placeholder message. That's all it does, for now.
