Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

PetKit Cameras for Scrypted

View PetKit camera live feeds (D4H, D4SH, T5, T6, T7) in Scrypted and HomeKit.

Install

In the Scrypted Management Console, go to Plugins → Install → enter scrypted-petkit.

Or from a terminal with Node.js installed:

npx scrypted install scrypted-petkit

Setup

Home Assistant Mode (Recommended)

Shares the PetKit session from Home Assistant — no separate login required.

Requirements:

  • homeassistant_petkit custom integration installed in HA
  • Scrypted must run under the same WAN IP as Home Assistant

In the plugin, click Add Device and enter your HA URL and a long-lived access token.

Standalone Mode

Enter your PetKit email/phone, password, and region code (e.g. CN, NL, US, DE).

Note: Standalone login will invalidate any active HA session for the same account.
