Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

SeoAudit

Node.js package to audit SEO for HTML content.

Installation

Install globally using npm:

npm install -g seoaudit

To install the latest version locally and save it in your package's package.json file:

npm install --save seoaudit

CommandLine Usage

seoaudit --file [input file path] OR --stream [file path] --outfile [result file path in case output type is file]

Example:

seoaudit --file input.html --out file --outfile resultFile.txt

Dependencies

assume: an expect inspired assertion library who's sole purpose is to create a working and human readable assert library for browsers and node. The library is designed to work with different assertion styles.
chai: a BDD / TDD assertion library for node and the browser that can be delightfully paired with any javascript testing framework.
chai-subset: "containSubset" object properties matcher for Chai assertion library.
cheerio: parse html content to Jquery object.
htmlparser: parse html content to DOM object.
lodash: javaScript utility library.
sprintf-js: formatted string.
yargs: helps to build interactive command line tools, by parsing arguments and generating an elegant user interface.
