Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

Serverless Function Calibrator

This Serverless plugin helps you to select the best memorySize value for your AWS Lambda function. It does so by empirically finding which value gives the fastest execution, and which one gives the cheapest.

Install

Note: Serverless v0.5.0 or higher is required.

Install via npm in the root of your Serverless Project: npm install serverless-function-calibrator --save
In the plugins array in your s-project.json add serverless-function-calibrator
All done!

Usage

Important: This plugin is currently in beta, so it is highly recommended to commit changes made to your project before running, in case a bug would cause your s-function.json file to be corrupted.

serverless function calibrate <function name> [-s <stage> -r <region>]
