Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

setup-ccstatusline

One-command setup for ccstatusline — a custom status bar for Claude Code.

Install

npx setup-ccstatusline

That's it. Restart Claude Code to see the status bar.

What it does

  1. Creates ~/.config/ccstatusline/settings.json with a 3-line powerline layout
  2. Adds statusLine entry to ~/.claude/settings.json (won't overwrite existing settings)

What you get

Line 1: Model (cyan) | Thinking effort | Session clock | Version Line 2: Git branch (blue) | Git changes (yellow) | Working dir | Context bar (red) Line 3: Session usage | Reset timer | Weekly usage | Weekly reset

Theme: OneDark with Powerline separators.
