Replay how your software actually got built: commits, CI, and the agents that wrote it.
shipreplay turns the real construction history of a software project — git commits, CI runs, and the work of AI coding agents (Claude Code first; more to come) — into animated, embeddable cards and social-ready videos. In the style of the interactive charts from Bun's "Rewriting Bun in Rust" post, generalized for any repository.
Status: in active development — this package currently reserves the name. The prototype (10 working animated cards) is being productized right now.
- Everything is mined locally. Your prompts and your code never leave your machine — only aggregate numbers are ever published, and only if you choose to.
- One command:
npx shipreplay. - Coming: embeddable widgets (
shipreplay.dev/e/<id>), MP4 export for Instagram/YouTube, and a GitHub Action that keeps your cards fresh on every release.
