Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

Deployment

  1. clone this project git clone https://github.com/cortexjs/shrinkwrap-packer.git
  2. copy server.js to some other path to prevent pull conflict cd shrinkwrap-packer && cp server.js _server.js
  3. edit _server.js config pack(folder to store zip file) and root(folder to search static files), feel free to change port
  4. install pm2 npm install pm2 -g
  5. prepare start script echo 'pm2 start _server.js -i max --name "shrinkwrap-packer"' > start.sh && chmod +x start.sh
  6. prepare restart script echo 'npm install && pm2 restart "shrinkwrap-packer"' > restart.sh && chmod +x restart.sh
  7. start server ./start.sh
  8. config nginx
    location /zip {
        proxy_pass http://127.0.0.1:3000;
    }
