Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

Shuffle Package Maker

Shuffle is a visual editor for developers. It works with Tailwind CSS, Bootstrap, Bulma, and MUI.

This tool simplifies the process of creating a UI library package for Shuffle. You can upload your favorite purchased UI library (e.g., Tailwind UI, Flowbite) or one you made. For more details, see the Shuffle library upload documentation.

Installation

Install from github

  1. Clone this repository.
  2. Run npm install in the root directory.

Install via npm

  1. Install shuffle-package-maker via your package manager (eg., npm install shuffle-package-maker).

Usage

You can use presets to build packages for Tailwind UI and Flowbite components.

  1. Run npx shuffle-package-maker DIRECTORY_NAME --preset PRESET_NAME where DIRECTORY_NAME is the directory you want to scan for components and PRESET_NAME is name of the preset you want to use. If you cloned the repository, run script directly node generate.mjs.
  2. Follow the instructions in the terminal.
  3. Use the generated ZIP package and upload as new library in Shuffle.
