Optimize Toolset

I’ve always been into building performant and accessible sites, but lately I’ve been taking it extremely seriously. So much so that I’ve been building a tool to help me optimize and monitor the sites that I build to make sure that I’m making an attempt to offer the best experience to those who visit them. If you’re into performant, accessible and SEO friendly sites, you might like it too! You can check it out at Optimize Toolset.

About

Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

If you’re interested in other things I’m working on, follow me on Twitter or check out the open source projects I’ve been publishing on GitHub.

I am also working on a Twitter bot for this site to tweet the most popular, newest, random packages from npm. Please follow that account now and it will start sending out packages soon–ish.

Open Software & Tools

This site wouldn’t be possible without the immense generosity and tireless efforts from the people who make contributions to the world and share their work via open source initiatives. Thank you 🙏

sign-off-axi

v0.8.0

Published

Answer your coding agents’ questions and review their work from one board.

Readme

A real ask answered on the demo board. The capture journey checks that the CLI reads back Friday. The projects and work shown are demo data.

Quick start

Requires Node.js 22.5 or newer. Run in your project folder. This example installs the Codex skill; choose another agent if needed.

npm install -g sign-off-axi
sign-off-axi init --agent codex
sign-off-axi open

Open the printed link. Tell your agent to use the installed sign-off skill when it needs your answer.

Try the demo · Website · Commands · Agent skill

npm version CI License: MIT X: @umership

Why sign-off

When several agents need you, questions get spread across terminals. sign-off collects them and saves each answer for its agent.

| Your current workflow | With sign-off | | --- | --- | | Find a question in each terminal | Today shows what needs you next | | Type the same answer again | The agent reads your saved answer | | Read “done” in chat | Open screenshots and recordings in Evidence | | Explain which part needs changing | Comment on the part of a plan or report in view | | Ask whether feedback arrived | See Sent, Delivered, Read, and Replied |

What you get

Every card has Previous and Next through its list. Feedback keeps its delivery trail. Discard asks for a reason and offers Undo; Archived keeps cards available to restore. The board installs as an app and reads its last update offline.

Proof you can inspect

  • Live demo: the real board with demo data. No install; demo answers stay in your browser.
  • Published package: version 0.6.9. The quick start above was run against the published package in an empty scratch folder.
  • Capture recipe: the README pictures come from the real board at 390 and 1280 pixels, light and dark. The answer loop also checks the saved answer through the CLI.
  • Integration journeys and CI runs: checks you can inspect and rerun.

Agent setup and limits

The CLI and skill work without a supervisor. Agents post cards and wait for their own answers. Each ordinary command calls no model. The optional Claude Code owner dispatcher resumes the author for follow-up questions.

The board runs on your machine. A phone needs a reachable address; private network setup explains binding and access tokens. Installing the app requires HTTPS or localhost. Offline mode shows the last update; sends fail and are not queued.
