Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

A plugin for SignalK that gets information from an attached PiSugar battery module.

Setup

Required Software

This plugin requires the PiSugar server to be installed and running. Get it from https://github.com/PiSugar/pisugar-power-manager-rs

SignalK Configuration

Install the plugin via SignalK "Appstore"
Go to "Server > Plugin Config" and click "Configure" for "SignalK PiSugar Plugin"
Save the defaults (or change them) and there you go! Look at "Data Browser" and observe your chosen patch being updated.

Troubleshooting

Check "Server > Server Log" for errors (red). Most common issue likely will be the UNIX domain socket won't be readable. This may present itself as an EACCESS error.

Assuming /tmp/pisugar-server.sock is the path to the socket file, to change the permissions at boot, add this to rc.local:

chmod 666 /tmp/pisugar-server.sock
