Optimize Toolset

I’ve always been into building performant and accessible sites, but lately I’ve been taking it extremely seriously. So much so that I’ve been building a tool to help me optimize and monitor the sites that I build to make sure that I’m making an attempt to offer the best experience to those who visit them. If you’re into performant, accessible and SEO friendly sites, you might like it too! You can check it out at Optimize Toolset.

About

Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

If you’re interested in other things I’m working on, follow me on Twitter or check out the open source projects I’ve been publishing on GitHub.

I am also working on a Twitter bot for this site to tweet the most popular, newest, random packages from npm. Please follow that account now and it will start sending out packages soon–ish.

Open Software & Tools

This site wouldn’t be possible without the immense generosity and tireless efforts from the people who make contributions to the world and share their work via open source initiatives. Thank you 🙏

then compare any two value, here is one example:

Meta object optional third parameter for custom comparison for deep equal (with default value)

  1. exactObject = true - this allows lazy equal when we set as false example one object may have more property than another object but it should include all the property of another object. other wise both are exactly should have same number property and value
  2. exactArray = true - this allows lazy equal when we set as false example one array may have more item than another another but it should include all the item of another array. other wise both are exactly should have same number items and value
  3. swapCompObject = true (swapComparisonObject) - by default we are allowing to interchange passing arrgument to compare objects. example if you call isSimilar function with first argument as "A" and second argument as "B", while comparision this can be interchangeable for better comparison so it could inverted first argument as "B" then second as "A". while setting this as "false" we can restrict this inversion.
  4. swapCompArray = true (swapComparisonArray) - by default we are allowing to interchange passing arrgument to compare objects. example if you call isSimilar function with first argument as "A" and second argument as "B", while comparision this can be interchangeable for better comparison so it could inverted first argument as "B" then second as "A". while setting this as "false" we can restrict this inversion.

Example with meta arguments:

console.log(isSimilar([1, 2, 3], [2, 1], { exactArray: false })); // true, because all the items in minimum length (second argument) array present in another array (first argument).

console.log(isSimilar([11, 3], [21, 1, 3, 11], { swapCompArray: false, exactArray: false })); // true, because all the items in first argument array present in second argument array.

console.log(isSimilar({ name: "Maheshwaran G" }, {} , { exactObject: false, swapCompObject: false })); // false, because second argument object atleast should include all the property of first argument object.

console.log(isSimilar({ name: "Maheshwaran G" }, {} , { exactObject: false })); // true, since swap of argument possible due to default swapComparisonObject as true so second argument has the minimum property than first then it means another object (first argument) has all the property of seconf argument object so it return true.

Please post your requirements that you want along with this feature we will put best effort to bring them to all the users. If you found any bug Please raise Bug or write mail to [email protected] or create PR with fixes , we will validate and put best effort to bring them to all the users.
