Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

skies-ui (npm CLI)

Add Skies.ui components to your app (source-first, shadcn-style).

Usage (from npm)

Published as unscoped skies-ui (same idea as shadcn on npm). From your app root:

npx skies-ui@latest init
npx skies-ui@latest list
npx skies-ui@latest add badge

Also bunx skies-ui@latest, pnpm dlx skies-ui@latest, yarn dlx skies-ui@latest (Yarn 1: prefer npx).

What it does

  • init writes components.json (registry URL, aliases, Tailwind paths).
  • add <name> copies component source + shared utils into your project.
  • After add, the CLI prints install lines for bun / pnpm / npm / yarn with versions aligned to @skies-ui/ui in this monorepo.

Install inferred dependencies immediately

npx skies-ui@latest add select --install

Monorepo / contributors

From the repo root (Bun):

bun run skies-ui -- list
bun run skies-ui -- init
bun run skies-ui -- add badge

Inside packages/cli:

bun run dev -- list
