slopci

Semantic lint for agent-written code.

Typecheck, lint, and tests pass on plenty of bad diffs. They can't tell you whether a catch block turned a real failure into fake success, whether the agent built a second abstraction the repo already owns, or whether a "fallback" silently broke correctness. slopci runs those engineering policies as checks over a diff.

Status

0.0.1 reserves the name and the CLI surface. The evaluator is not implemented yet: check collects the diff and exits 2. See vision.md.

Usage

npx slopci check              # diff of the working tree
npx slopci check --staged     # staged changes only
npx slopci check --base main  # diff against a base ref

Exit codes

0  no blocking findings
1  blocking rule violations
2  slopci execution, config, or provider failure
