Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

Install

npm i -g smart_cli_agent

Run

smart-cli run

Features

First Run

The app asks for:

  • Jira base URL
  • Jira email
  • Jira API token
  • AI provider
  • AI mode or model
  • AI API key for cloud providers

For Ollama:

  • choose Ollama (Local) as the provider
  • enter a local model like qwen2.5:7b or any custom Ollama model
  • make sure Ollama is running on http://127.0.0.1:11434

After setup, the app opens on the dashboard.

Navigation

Ticket actions:

[a] Run AI
[u] Upload generated subtasks to Jira
[c] Change AI settings

AI Providers

  • Google Gemini

Notes

  • Logging out from AI keeps Jira connected and asks only for AI setup again.
  • Logging out from Jira returns the app to full setup.
  • The executable command is smart-cli.
