Optimize Toolset

I’ve always been into building performant and accessible sites, but lately I’ve been taking it extremely seriously. So much so that I’ve been building a tool to help me optimize and monitor the sites that I build to make sure that I’m making an attempt to offer the best experience to those who visit them. If you’re into performant, accessible and SEO friendly sites, you might like it too! You can check it out at Optimize Toolset.

About

Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

If you’re interested in other things I’m working on, follow me on Twitter or check out the open source projects I’ve been publishing on GitHub.

I am also working on a Twitter bot for this site to tweet the most popular, newest, random packages from npm. Please follow that account now and it will start sending out packages soon–ish.

Open Software & Tools

This site wouldn’t be possible without the immense generosity and tireless efforts from the people who make contributions to the world and share their work via open source initiatives. Thank you 🙏

SocialClaw - Social Claw is a social media scheduling skill for AI agents posting to X, LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook Pages, TikTok, Discord, Telegram, YouTube, Reddit, WordPress, and Pinterest

SocialClaw is a social media scheduling CLI and OpenClaw skill for AI agents posting to X, LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook Pages, TikTok, Discord, Telegram, YouTube, Reddit, WordPress, and Pinterest.

It is the public home for the SocialClaw CLI and agent skill bundle.

This repo is the public integration surface for SocialClaw:

  • the npm CLI package
  • the OpenClaw/ClawHub skill bundle
  • the Claude Code plugin (skills/socialclaw/) and marketplace (.claude-plugin/)
  • the Claude Code command file installed by socialclaw install --claude
  • public usage docs and examples

Supported providers currently include:

  • X
  • Facebook Pages
  • Instagram Business
  • Instagram standalone professional accounts
  • LinkedIn profile
  • LinkedIn page
  • Pinterest
  • TikTok
  • Discord
  • Telegram
  • YouTube
  • Reddit
  • WordPress

The hosted SocialClaw service lives at:

Install

npm install -g socialclaw
socialclaw --help
social --help

Authentication and access

Running socialclaw login without an API key opens the hosted dashboard so the user can:

  • sign in with Google
  • connect social accounts
  • create or copy a workspace API key
  • activate a trial or paid plan for CLI/API access

Important:

  • the CLI works against a deployed SocialClaw workspace via API key auth
  • an API key alone is not enough for agent execution; the workspace must also have an active trial or paid plan
  • if a command returns plan_required or subscription_*, send the user to https://getsocialclaw.com/pricing or https://getsocialclaw.com/dashboard

Quick start

socialclaw login
socialclaw login --api-key <workspace-key> --base-url https://getsocialclaw.com

Claude Code

Plugin install (recommended)

Install as a proper Claude Code plugin from inside Claude Code:

/plugin marketplace add ndesv21/socialclaw
/plugin install socialclaw@socialclaw

This installs the /socialclaw:socialclaw skill and enables auto-invocation — Claude will use SocialClaw automatically when you ask about scheduling, posting, or managing social accounts.

Command file install (alternative)

socialclaw install --claude

That copies the bundled command file into ~/.claude/commands/socialclaw.md and registers /socialclaw.

What the CLI covers

  • workspace API key login and hosted dashboard bootstrap
  • browser OAuth connect plus manual Discord/Telegram connect
  • hosted asset upload and deletion
  • schedule validation, campaign preview, apply, inspect, clone, and draft publishing
  • post, run, attempt, analytics, job, usage, and health inspection
  • Claude Code command installation through socialclaw install --claude

Pinterest is exposed as the pinterest provider in the public CLI and skill bundle. Its main publish target is board-centric, with support for standard pins, video pins, multi-image pins, board creation and section/catalog discovery, plus pin/account analytics. Product, collection, and idea surfaces should be treated as capability-gated or beta rather than assumed for every workspace.

Skills and plugin

The OpenClaw-compatible skill bundle lives in skill/. Publish that folder to ClawHub for OpenClaw/ClawHub agent discovery.

The Claude Code plugin lives in skills/socialclaw/ with the marketplace manifest at .claude-plugin/.

Publishing

Bump the version with npm version — it automatically syncs the version into .claude-plugin/plugin.json and .claude-plugin/marketplace.json and stages the changes:

npm version patch # or minor / major
git push && git push --tags
npm publish --access public

To sync reference files manually after editing skill/references/:

npm run sync:references

Notes

  • Users connect accounts inside the hosted SocialClaw dashboard.
  • The dashboard and API live at https://getsocialclaw.com.
  • The npm package ships the CLI, skill docs, Claude Code plugin, and command asset.
