Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

Build Status Code Climate

Tired of spaghetti in your jQuery code? Meet Sol.js - micro framework for making easy-readable jQuery components.

What’s inside:

Initialize

vitalize() initializes all registered components

Components are secured from double initialization. That provides us ability to use vitalize repeatedly, for example - after adding dynamic content

We can pass properties to components using data-options attribute

Events

Sugar for event mapping. You can hang handlers on component DOM elements or delegate events to elements

Don’t forget to use window in event mapping

And there is an event «remove». Quite useful when your component adds mark up or outer handlers

Communications

Here we use custom jQuery events for between-components communication

By the way there are 2 awesome methods for sending events for parent components (dispatch) and for children (broadcast)

Inherit

More nice stuff: Inheritance between components, properties can be redefined, methods can get wrapped and still call parent methods using _super()

Easy customize

You can expand or redefine standard component methods as you wish
