Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

SQL CLI MySQL Driver

An SQLite Driver for the SQL CLI package!

Lets you connect to SQLite Databases using the SQL CLI. This can be installed globally (allowing you to use it everywhere) or locally (to be used within a specific package).

Install

$ npm install [-g] sqlclid-sqlite

For most use cases, you'll want to install this globally so you can take full advantage of sqlcli anywhere on your computer, however, you can also save it to your dev dependencies to make sure your colleagues are on the same page when inspecting the DB.

$ npm install --save-dev sqlcli-repl sqlclid-sqlite

Usage

Open a connection using a URI or through args

$ sqlcli sqlite:///:memory:
OR
$ sqlcli -d sqlite -b :memory:

Execute typical SQL queries:

user@localhost> SELECT 1 AS `One`, 2 AS `Two`;
|-----|-----|
| One | Two |
|-----|-----|
|   1 |   2 |
|-----|-----|

Execute multi-line SQL queries:

user@localhost> SELECT
... 3 AS `Three`,
... 4 AS `Four`
... ;

Execute JS on results:

user@localhost> SELECT 1 AS `One`, 2 AS `Two`;sh
