startdevcode
A command-line project generator. Run one command, pick a boilerplate (React, Node + Express, NestJS, Next.js, MERN, ...) and get a ready-to-run project in seconds.
No login, no token and no GitHub account required.

npm run devWhat it does
- Asks which template you want (or reads it from your command).
- Downloads the latest version of that template.
- Creates a new folder with your project name and updates the
nameinpackage.json. - Creates a
.envfile from.env.exampleif the template includes one. - Optionally initializes git and installs dependencies with your preferred package manager.
Generated projects are plain copies of the template, so they are fully yours to edit and are never linked back to the generator.

Tips
- Always use
@latestto make sure you get the newest version of the tool:npx startdevcode@latest - Use
npx startdevcode@<version>to pin a specific release of the tool.
