Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

Setup

  • Set FMP_API_KEY in environment matching the API key retrieved from https://financialmodelingprep.com/developer/docs/

Usage

$ npm install -g stock-analysis-cli
$ sac COMMAND

OPTIONS
  --all  see all commands in CLI

sac snapshot SYMBOL

returns the current name (if present), price and change for a symbol

USAGE
  $ sac snapshot SYMBOL

ARGUMENTS
  SYMBOL  the ticker symbol, use `search` if unsure

OPTIONS
  -d, --delay=delay  [default: 5] determines how long to wait before updating again
  -r, --repeat       automatically returns a new snapshot per delay window
