Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

Readme

  1. Clone the application
  2. Install the packages

npm install

  1. To Start the storybook

npm run storybook

  1. Make the changes and export them in index.js
  2. change the application version in package.json file
  3. Make the build using rollup.js the bundler that helps to make the minified version of the application and distribute the reactjs application as a distributable package

npm run build-lib

  1. Upload the build to git

npm --allow-same-version version 0.1.6 -m "Bump version to: %s [skip ci]"

  1. Login with npm in your command prompt

npm add user

  1. Add the GitHub token and npm token in the .env file
  2. publish the package

npm publish

  1. install the package.

npm install storybook-system

  1. import the package in the js file

import { Button } from 'storybook-system'

  1. You can customise the component with the custom css

import {componentName} from 'storybook-system/dist'
