Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

sudden-cli

Command line interface and MCP server for Sudden 3D.

Not released. This package reserves the name on the registry. The surface described below is specified and not yet built, and the binary currently prints this notice and exits non-zero.

What it will be

One package carrying two things that share sign-in, token storage and a command catalogue:

  • sudden, a command line interface for the work a canvas is the wrong shape for: batch runs, build steps, and fetching assets into a project folder.
  • sudden mcp, the MCP server an MCP client spawns.

Signing in once with the command line interface leaves the MCP server authenticated.

Install

npm install -g sudden-cli

Requires Node 22 or later.

Licence

Not yet decided. Until it is, no licence is granted beyond installing and running this placeholder.
