suiteforge-mcp

An offline reference for NetSuite SuiteScript 2.x APIs and SDF objects, served to AI assistants over the Model Context Protocol. Instead of searching Oracle's documentation or guessing, your assistant looks up exact parameters, options objects, return types, governance costs, restrictions and supported script types.

The catalog is built from Oracle's SuiteScript 2.1 API stubs and is the same catalog that powers the SuiteForge VS Code extension. The server is read-only, makes no network requests and never connects to a NetSuite account.

Install

npm install -g suiteforge-mcp

Requires Node.js 20 or later. The SuiteForge VS Code extension can install the package, test it and configure your AI apps from its AI Reference (MCP) sidebar section.

Configure your AI app

The app starts the server itself, so the reference works whether or not VS Code is open. Use the absolute paths for your machine. npm root -g prints the global package folder.

Any other MCP client that can launch a local stdio server works the same way, including tools used with GLM models.

suiteforge-mcp --version prints the version; --help prints usage and the catalog release.
