sync-bc-skills
Sync BreatheCode agent skills from breatheco-de/apiv2 into a project's .agent/skills folder.
Usage
npx sync-bc-skills
npx sync-bc-skills ./my-app
npx sync-bc-skills /abs/path -yOr add a script:
{
"scripts": {
"skills:sync": "sync-bc-skills"
},
"devDependencies": {
"sync-bc-skills": "^1.0.0"
}
}Behavior
- Installs skills into
.agent/skills/<skill-name>/ - On first run for a project, asks for confirmation before creating
.agent/ writing skills - Later syncs overwrite managed skills (local edits to those folders are replaced)
- Prunes only skills this tool previously installed that were removed upstream; custom skills in
.agent/skillsare left alone - Tracks projects in
~/.config/sync-bc-skills/projects.json
Options
| Flag | Description |
|------|-------------|
| [path] | Project root (default: current directory) |
| -y, --yes | Skip first-run confirmation |
| --dry-run | Show planned actions; write nothing |
| --list | List tracked projects |
| --forget [path] | Remove a project from the registry (does not delete skills) |
| --ref <ref> | Git ref to sync (default: main) |
| -h, --help | Show help |
Notes
- Non-interactive first runs require
-y - Declining confirmation exits without changes
- Optional
GITHUB_TOKENorGH_TOKENhelps avoid GitHub rate limits - The path you pass is treated as the project root (no automatic git walk-up)
Programmatic API

await syncBcSkills({ path: process.cwd(), yes: true });
