Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

Application model and typed Host APIs for Tempo plugins.

UI plugins connect after Tempo has supplied the page context:

Runtime plugins declare their setup and cleanup in one place:

Hybrid plugins can share an optional IPC contract:

Pass it to connect<PluginIpc>() and defineRuntime<PluginIpc>() to type channel names, arguments, and invoke results on both sides. Omitting the contract keeps dynamic string channels available.

The SDK uses APIs injected by Tempo. It does not request or bypass plugin permissions.

Vite projects can use the SDK-owned development transport and manifest helper:

tempoPlugin() injects the SDK-owned transport during development and copies manifest.json during builds. Production plugin pages receive the versioned transport from Tempo, so generated projects do not need .tempo bridge files.
