Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

Terminal Command Helper

A CLI tool to get shell commands from natural language queries using Claude, Qwen, or Gemini.

Installation

npm install -g .

Usage

ch <your natural language query>

Model Selection

By default, the tool uses Claude's haiku model. You can specify a different model using the --model or -m flag:

For Claude models:

ch -m sonnet <your natural language query>
ch -m opus <your natural language query>
ch -m haiku <your natural language query>

For Qwen models:

ch -m qwen <your natural language query>
ch -m qwen-max <your natural language query>
ch -m qwen-plus <your natural language query>
ch -m qwen-turbo <your natural language query>

For Gemini models:

ch -m gemini <your natural language query>
ch -m gemini-pro <your natural language query>
ch -m gemini-ultra <your natural language query>
ch -m gemini-flash <your natural language query>
