Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

Textin MCP Ts

MCP Server for the Textin OCR.

Tools

  • convertFileToMarkdown

    • Convert various file formats (png, jpg, jpeg, pdf, bmp, tiff, webp, doc, docx, html, mhtml) to Markdown format.
    • Input:
      • inputPath (string): Path to the input file
      • outputPath (string, optional): Path to save the markdown file
      • options (object, optional): Conversion options including PDF password, page settings, and extraction preferences
    • Return: Generated markdown content
  • scanDirectory

    • Scan directory for supported file formats.
    • Input: directoryPath (string): Path to the directory to scan
    • Return: List of supported files in the directory
  • extractInfo

    • Extract information from documents (png, jpg, jpeg, doc, docx, pdf, ofd, xlsx, xls).
    • Input:
      • inputPath (string): Path to the input file
      • key (string, optional): Comma-separated list of keys to extract single values
      • tableHeader (string, optional): Comma-separated list of table headers to extract table data
  • enhanceImage

    • Enhance and process images with various options like enhancement, cropping, dewarping, and deblurring.
    • Input:
      • inputPath (string): Path to the input image file or URL
      • outputPath (string, optional): Path to save the enhanced image
      • options (object, optional):
        • enhanceMode (number): Enhancement mode (-1: disabled, 1: brighten, 2: enhance and sharpen, 3: black&white, 4: grayscale, 5: remove shadow, 6: halftone)
        • cropImage (number): Whether to crop image (0: no, 1: yes)
        • onlyPosition (number): Whether to return only corner positions (0: return corners and image, 1: return only corners)
        • dewarpImage (number): Whether to dewarp image (0: no, 1: yes)
        • deblurImage (number): Whether to deblur image (0: no, 1: yes)
    • Return: Path to the saved enhanced image
