Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

Thin MCP server for hosted Thorbit Topic Map Lite runs.

The package does not run Topic Map locally. It forwards MCP tool calls to hosted Thorbit at /api/v1/mcp/topic-map/:toolName; hosted Thorbit handles API-key auth, org/project ownership, credits, metering, persistence, and runtime callbacks. The hosted runtime is Mastra-backed, uses OpenRouter with MiniMax 3, and uses MCP Scraper for web work with concurrency up to 50.

Environment

  • THORBIT_TOPIC_MAP_MCP_API_KEY, THORBIT_MCP_API_KEY, or THORBIT_API_KEY
  • THORBIT_TOPIC_MAP_MCP_BASE_URL or THORBIT_BASE_URL (defaults to https://thorbit.ai)

You can also store the API key in ~/.thorbit-topic-map-mcp-key.
