Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

tidev

AI coding agent built in Rust — now available via npm!

npm install -g tidev

This npm package downloads the prebuilt tidev binary from the GitHub Releases page and makes the tidev command available on your PATH.

Usage

tidev [options]

Requirements

  • Node.js 18 or later
  • Linux x64/arm64, macOS x64/arm64, or Windows x64

How it works

  • postinstall downloads the correct binary for your platform.
  • On subsequent runs, the cached binary is reused unless a newer version is published.
  • If the download fails during npm install, it falls back silently — the binary is downloaded on first tidev invocation.

Environment variables
