Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

Setup

Install

Install time factory in your project as an NPM dependency :

npm install time-factory

Usage

console.log(Time.milliseconds());
// => 4017501183677

Time

Time utility package mostly based off of built-in methods and objects to make the time-related functions easier to use. This returns a unique instance of the Time factory function.

Kind: global class

time.seconds()

Returns the number of seconds elapsed since January 1, 1970 00:00:00 UTC.

Kind: instance method of Time

time.milliseconds()

Returns the number of milliseconds elapsed since January 1, 1970 00:00:00 UTC.

time.precision()

Returns a high-resolution time in nanoseconds. Meant to compute the execution time. Relies on process.hrtime.

Returns a timestamp in milliseconds from a timestamp in seconds.

Returns a date as a string in ISO format from a timestamp in milliseconds.
