Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

A desktop pet plugin for TINKER, powered by Petdex. Browse, install, and run animated companions on your desktop.

  • Local Install — download pet packs and manage installed companions
  • Desktop Pet — always-on-top floating window with drag, click actions, scale, and opacity

  • MCP Tools — play_action, list_actions, and get_status for agents and the CLI

Installation

Download and install TINKER from https://tinker.liriliri.io/, then run npm i -g tinker-agent-pet.

Usage

  1. Browse the gallery and download a pet you like
  2. Click Enable to open the desktop companion
  3. Drag to move; click to cycle animations; adjust size and opacity in Settings
  4. Open Agent Hooks to map coding-agent events to pet actions, then Apply
  5. Optionally enable Run in Background and Run at Startup so the pet restores on launch
