Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

An IP info plugin for TINKER, showing LAN/public IP addresses, website latency, and DNS exits.

Features

  • LAN IPv4 listed by network interface, with the preferred adapter first
  • Domestic & overseas public IP lookup with location and ISP (multi-source fallback)
  • Latency test against common sites (domestic for zh-CN, overseas otherwise)
  • DNS exit detection with geo info

Installation

Download and install TINKER from https://tinker.liriliri.io/, then run npm i -g tinker-ip-info.

Usage

  1. Open the plugin to view LAN IPs, public IPs, latency, and DNS exits
  2. Click an IP address (or its copy button) to copy it to the clipboard
  3. Click "Refresh" to re-query all data
