Optimize Toolset

I’ve always been into building performant and accessible sites, but lately I’ve been taking it extremely seriously. So much so that I’ve been building a tool to help me optimize and monitor the sites that I build to make sure that I’m making an attempt to offer the best experience to those who visit them. If you’re into performant, accessible and SEO friendly sites, you might like it too! You can check it out at Optimize Toolset.

About

Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

If you’re interested in other things I’m working on, follow me on Twitter or check out the open source projects I’ve been publishing on GitHub.

I am also working on a Twitter bot for this site to tweet the most popular, newest, random packages from npm. Please follow that account now and it will start sending out packages soon–ish.

Open Software & Tools

This site wouldn’t be possible without the immense generosity and tireless efforts from the people who make contributions to the world and share their work via open source initiatives. Thank you 🙏

On May 24, during a traffic stop in the 1000 block of 45th Street, El Paso Police Officers Richard P. Rogers and David Robles were shot and wounded by a single shooter in a passing vehicle. Officer Rogers, who was the first police officer to arrive at the crime scene, attempted to detain the suspect, Ramiro A. Garcia, while Officer Robles, who was following, gave chase. The suspect fired on Officers Rogers and Robles with a 9mm handgun, and Officer Rogers was struck by several bullets. Officer Rogers returned fire, striking the suspect in the leg, and he fled. Minutes later, the suspect carjacked a woman and then jumped out of the car and fled on foot. Officers Rogers and Robles and the woman were taken to University Medical Center El Paso, where they were treated for non-life-threatening injuries, and later released. This is the first officer-involved shooting in which a citizen was wounded.

A ricochet bullet from a drive-by shooting injured a 7-year-old boy in the shoulder and grazed his 2-year-old sister as they stood on a front porch in the 4000 block of Bandera Road around 10 p.m. Thursday. The younger child received three shots to the chest. The injured children were taken to Children's Hospital. Authorities said they are still searching for the shooter, who remains at large. The children's father said he does not know who was responsible, though they are a "little mad because they thought it was a car."

The Guidelines were approved by the United States Food and Drug Administration on November 14, 1999, and are the last to be promulgated by the agency's Center for Drug Evaluation and Research (CDER). These guidelines, as outlined in the Code of Federal Regulations, which governs food and drug law, are the highest form of regulation regarding a drug's safety, quality, and purity. The Guidelines set the acceptable marketing standards for new molecular entities (NMEs) by estimating how long a drug has been on the market. Compliance with the Guidelines assures patients that a drug is safe and effective. 84d34552a1
